Washing machine removal from inside your property
A washing machine is heavy and awkward to move. You do not necessarily have to get it outside before we arrive. Where access allows, Berkshire Clearance Services can collect the appliance from inside the property.
Houses, flats and rental properties
We collect washing machines from kitchens, utility rooms, garages, houses, flats, rental properties and business premises.
If the machine is upstairs, send details of the floor level, stairs or lift and any difficult doorways before booking.
Landlords and property managers can also include washing machines left behind by tenants as part of a wider property clearance.
Before we collect your washing machine
- Make sure the drum is empty.
- Drain residual water where possible.
- Keep hoses contained.
- Clear the route between the machine and exit.
- Tell us about stairs, tight doorways or restricted parking.
- Tell us if the machine is leaking or stuck in position.
The machine should be safely disconnected before removal. If you require help with disconnection, ask us before booking. Plumbing, electrical work and releasing fitted appliances should not be assumed to be included.
Freestanding and integrated washing machine removal
We collect standard freestanding washing machines and integrated appliances that have been safely disconnected and released from their fitted housing.
If your washing machine is still fixed inside a kitchen unit or difficult to remove, tell us when requesting your quote so we know what is involved before arriving.
We collect household machines from manufacturers including Bosch, Hotpoint, Samsung, LG, Beko, Indesit, AEG, Zanussi, Hoover and Candy. For unusually large or commercial washing machines, send us photos and dimensions first.
Washing machine disposal and WEEE recycling
Washing machines are electrical equipment and should be handled through appropriate waste and recycling routes rather than simply being placed with normal household rubbish.
We collect the appliance and take it to an appropriate licensed waste facility for onward handling and recycling.
Berkshire Clearance Services is a registered waste carrier, registration CBDU422214, and provides waste transfer documentation for collections.
